Kill Bill Vol.2 (2004)

Cast:Uma Thurman, David Carradine,Michael Madsen,Darryl Hannah,Michael Parks

The Bride(Thurman) looks to finally kill Bill(Carradine) but along we find out why she's such a bad ass and why she wants revenge so much along the way the feel is of a western and Carradine and Thurman's chemistry make this even more enjoyable than Kill Bill Vol. 1.

David Carradine gives what has to be his best performance, Michael Parks and Michael Madsen are both in it, this alone makes this rise above the excellent predecessor.  The story this time has more texture and Carradine, Hannah and Madsen are truly more interesting as villains than Lucy Liu and Vivica A. Fox from the original were and the story connects on a deeper level than the first. That's not to say there aren't a few minor flaws here and there, mainly being the silly way Madsen's fate is handled but there's  so much energy in the script and chemistry among Carradine and Thurman that one is easy to forgive the shortcomings.Infact the showdown at the end between Carradine and Thurman is more heartbreaking than the sweet vengeance set up from the first due to one  feeling sympathy for Carradine's church antics due to his broken heart. It all comes full circle and it's a movie one should watch especially when Michael Bay,Jerry Bruckheimer and Uwe Boll exist. It's nice to see an actioner  that actually has a story behind it. Also David Carradine maybe the only father in the world, that would let his daughter watch Shogun Assassin before she goes to bed. D.Quentin Tarantino
