| Kid (1991) Cast:C.Thomas Howell,Sarah Trigger,R.Lee Ermey,Brian Austin Green Howell plays a kid who returns to the town where his family is slaughtered this time armed and looking for vigilante style justice. Although Howell isn't as imposing as Dolph Lundgren, lacks Van Damme's flexibility and Seagal's mean edge, Howell does have a few good moves and is likable. As far as actionflicks go this one is cut above the norm. Kid is more stylish then most movies, It's more polished and the actionscenes are slightly above average. For the most part Kid is not very violent, yet it holds your attention during the smaller scenes between Trigger and Howell. The ending is disappointing but fans hungering for action will most likely be satisfied by this offering. Howell never really made it as an actionstar but he does have the right stuff and a movie like this could have been just a routine revenge flick but Howell manages to make it work as something more..
