| Joy Ride (2001) Cast:Steve Zahn,Paul Walker,Leelee Sobeski I can't tell you how disappointed I was when "Joy Ride" totally collapsed under it's own weight in the final 15 minutes during a wimpy climax. But until that Joy Ride is still very much worth a look. Walker and Zahn play brothers who play a mean joke on a hapless trucker,only to find out that the joke was more than they bargained for. Joy Ride delivers a few scares and doesn't rely too much on gore but since the ending is so disappointing I couldn't help but feel like I missed something. Even so Joy Ride is very well acted and very stylish. Joy Ride is no great shakes for sure but you can sure do worse. D.John Dahl **1/2 |
