| The Jackal (1997) Cast:Bruce Willis,Richard Gere,Sidney Poitier,Diane Verona Bruce Willis stars as "The Jackal" a hired asssassin of the Russian mob who tries to squeeze "The First Lady" while agents Gere,Poiter and Verona try to thwart his plans in this reasonably exciting actioner which while not as good as the original still has enough interest to be worth a look. Panned by critics (Gene Siskel said "The movie flat out stunk") The Jackal joins the ranks of underrated action movies (Populated by low rent flicks) Solid acting (Especially from Willis who's chillingly cold) and good action scenes make this far better then what the critics made it out to be.
