Invasion U.S.A (1985)

Cast:Chuck Norris,Richard Lynch,Melissa Prophet

"Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting" Is the best way to describe this tacky, brainless, unstylish waste of time which has Chuck Norris fighting  a group of Russian thugs who want to take over the U.S  And only Norris can save us in this utterly worthless paranoia thriller.

Only for Die Hard Norris fans who named their kids after Norris's character in
Missing In Action.  The moronic plot features Lynch blowing up houses on Christmas and blowing up Norris' house and other brutalities  and yet The motive is never clear why, however this doesn't make Invasion U.S.A a bad movie, neither  does is it's brainless script, bad acting and the dull story.   What really sinks Invasion U.S.A is it's total lack of imagination in the action scenes, they are all very routine and dull since Norris is so invincible.

It doesn't help that many flaws can be found in the action scenes such as the stuntmen walking off the set after being killed and other inplausabilities.. In the end
Invasion U.S.A doesn't go out with a bang as much as it ends with a whimper as it squirms a little and dies.. Norris fans may enjoy the excessive violence but the movie is a pitiful dud. D.Joseph Zito *
