Thomas Howell Gary Busey plays a corrupt cop who uses Sillk The Shocker as a pawn in his quest to take down a mobster in this standard rap drama that has a cast of rappers but wastes actionstars such as Jeff Speakman and C. Thomas Howell in a plot that makes no real sense. However being that this is a movie produced by PM, naturally there's tons of cars turning over and enough fireballs to keep boredom at bay, unfortunately it's all ruined with terrible rap on the soundtrack which becomes in overblown annoyance. Overall Hot Boyz may be a cut above most rapper movies but it's still a notch below most actioners. D.Master P ** |
