| Hollow Point (1995) Cast:Thomas Ian Griffith,Tia Carrere,Donald Sutherland,John Lithgow Thomas Ian Griffith stars as an obnoxious cop who teams up with a bitchy cop (Carrere) who team up to take on a terrorist, and are helped by an assassin. Brain dead buddy movie offers nothing new, and is basicly a movie to be avoided like a Culture Club song on the radio. Although somewhat redeemed by Sutherland's amusing performance, the lead actors display zero chemistry, and Griffith is truly a lousy actor, with a nail on the chalkboard voice, is begging to be slapped in every scene he is in, he basicly imitates Jim Belushi, and of course he's terrible. Carrere is actually an alright actress but here she seems often annoyed by the movie she's in, and who can blame her. Lithgow is bland and the actionscenes poorly filmed, Hollow Point is indeed hollow, the script is one of the most hollow things since Cobra, and the movie has nothing even remotely entertaining about it, Furie is a decent director but his talents are wasted, so all one can expect is a waste of a good night's evening .
