| Hellbound (1994) Cast:Chuck Norris,Christopher Neame,Calvin J. Levels Norris as a martial artist who uses kickboxing on the messenger of satan (Neame) in this utterly atrocious actioner. Levels stars as Norris' useless partner who makes the movie more of an embarrassment with his constant high pitched screaming that splits the ears.Hellbound also suffers from lackluster production values and bad acting.(Excepting Neame) Even Norris fans will find nothing worthwhile here as the actionscenes are watered down and Norris looks unbelievably slow-he looks like a 80 year old on crutches. The story is relentlessly dull and therefore offers nothing to recommend. It also marks as the lamest of the lot of "Actionstar VS Satan/Demon" movie and that says something. Overall Hellbound has nothing going for it but gunfire and violence and at that "Hellbound" comes up surprisingly lacking. D.Aaron Norris * |
