Harley Davidson And The Marlboro Man (1991)

Cast:Mickey Rourke,Don Johnson,Daniel Baldwin, Tom Sizemore,Chelsea Field

Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson are
Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man, two outlaws who decide to rob a bank to save their favorite club, however when they swipe drugs instead, the bank sends assassins who look impossible to kill in this disappointing buddy actioner.

A great title is the best thing on display here. Sadly despite the fact that Rourke and Johnson try hard
Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man is a perfectly stale movie. There just isn't enough action to relieve the script's lame story and we get too much uninspired male bonding from H.D and M.M, once again Rourke and Johnson have an odd chemistry but the movie doesn't focus on this aspect enough, I mean in terms of developing personalities of the characters. So seeing two one-note characters talk gets dull real quick. This movie might be a cult movie but it's a boring one also. Only an admittedly impressive climax saves Harley Davidson and The Marlboro Man from a full blown one star rating. D.Simon Wincer *1/2
