| Forced Vengeance (1982) Cast:Chuck Norris,Mary Louise Weller,Bob Minor,Ken Argent Norris stars as a Vietnam vet who fights the Hong Kong underworld in this slightly overlong but watchable early 80's action which features enough martial arts and action to make it worth seeing. Also Norris looks very polished in his swift martial arts moves and in the end this remains one of his better efforts. Norris' acting is always minimal and therefore to judge his acting skill is never a good idea in a review because it's Chuck Norris, what do you expect? Obviously the producers thought this wasthe case so they had Norris do lots of martial arts in this, therefore taking away Norris' number one weakness, in what proves to be one of Norris' best early efforts. Sure they're are times when things get dull but for an early 80's Norris actioner, he's in good form andf the revenge plot makes this more watchable than his other work. However to be fair sometimes the movie gets mean spirited and Weller is somewhat wasted, and Norris is very broad in his acting approach still the actionscenes are well handled and Forced Vengeance remain a vast improvement over the hideously dull The Octagon and A Force Of One.
