| Fantasy Mission Force (1984) Cast:Jackie Chan,Brigette Lin,Jimmy Wang Yu All I can say is THIS IS ONE BAD MOVIE! The movie doesn't make sense and it rambles to one point to another without ever letting the audience catch it's breath.... Trying to describe this plot is like trying to put together a shelf with directions in Chinese or some other language you can't understand. A friend said if you put monkeys in a room to write a script this is what you get. Chan joining a group of mercenaries who are supposed to find a group of generals, honestly they go through haunted houses and fight amazon girls! How? Well don't ask. The movie is like a rollercoaster ride but we don't know if we will be killed on it or not....The film is very cheesy and can be fun(Depends on your friend's ability to be sarcastic) but if you want a good Jackie Chan movie look somewhere else because this movie lurches in the gutter. Second of all the ending is downbeat which doesn't work for this kind of movie.The movie is tounge in cheek but after awhile it becomes cheesy. So if this sounds like your kinda movie by all means give it a rent but you have been warned on how bad it is. But for those who enjoy bad movies this is one movie for you.. D.Jimmy Wang Yu |
