| Exit Wounds (2001) Cast:Steven Seagal,DMX.Bill Duke,Jill Hennesy Mediocre vehicle isn't quite as inept as his other earlier films but it's startlingly average. Seagal plays a cop who takes on corrupt cops by teaming up with a gangster played by DMX. Mediocre as it may be, this is Seagal's best movie since 1997. Exit Wounds isn't as bad as it could have been but the film is still brainless and undistinguishable and the directing is done with unfortunate camera trickery which is distracting and makes it hard for one to sit back and fully enjoy, not only that, Seagal looks like he needs to hit the gym, however one thing this movie does do well, is action, and although Seagal is bogged down by camera trickery, Exit Wounds features some imagination in providing action, such as the chains wrapped around the fist before Seagal hits a guy, and an exciting chase to start of the movie, however the movie is just too generic for it's own good, and therefore only die hard Seagal fans need to apply.
