| Drunken Master II (1993) Cast:Jackie Chan,Ti-Lung,Anita Mui Jackie Chan is at his best when he stars as a martial artist who uses his considerable skill to fight a bunch of thugs looking to sell cultural artifacts pick a fight with Chan, what resorts is some of the best martial arts action sequences ever choreographed in this excellent martial arts actioner. One only need to look at the climax and realize why Hong Kong movies have the market cornered. One of the biggest crimes is how this movie failed to make much money on it rerelease in the states, yet the vastly inferior Rush Hour made much more, which only implies the stupidity of the American audience who would rather see watered down versions of Jackie Chan instead of when he was at the height of his career. Just amazing. Speaking of amazing this movie is. Seriously I can't think of a movie made in the 90's that even comes close to rivaling the spectactular action sequences here, as well as the effective humor and of course one of the most exhilarating climaxes of all time. Seriously see this movie, this is why Jackie Chan even crossed over in the first place. If you go on to rent one of Chan's lesser films, it's your loss. I don't know how much more I have to say.
