| The Cannonball Run (1981) Cast:Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Farrah Fawcett,Roger Moore,Jackie Chan, Jamie Farr One of the worst movies ever made, The Cannonball Run details the exploits of racers in an outlawed road race where many things happen to a cast that appears to be having fun, unfortunately none of the audience are let in on it. The Cannonball Run is so bad in so many ways that it's hard to imagine the popularity of such an awful movie. It's really something. A movie that even a full-fledged alcoholic couldn't enjoy, this is probably because everyone in the movie wants you to laugh with them but rather were annoyed. I myself kept waiting for something to happen and by that I mean something exciting or remotely watchable. Not once did his transpire. This is the number one reason why Burt Reynolds lost his career in the 80's, even Stroker Ace and Rent-A-Cop was better. The Cannonball Run is the absoluate pits in terms of filmmaking, acting and directing. Movies like this can be fun if you make them with tons of energy but literly this is so boring and lifeless that I can't even think about it without feeling my intelligence drop.
