You get a gory and fun romp with enough action to keep you entertained until it finally loses momentum but a lot of this goes a long a way! The only real problem I have with Blade is it's overlength which should have been trimmed by at least 10 minutes, That and Wright is far too wooden in the role, and is openly annoying and this grinds Blade down half a rating. Still Blade has enough action and story to work, it's complete silliness but entertainment is hard to find these days, and Blade supplies it.! D.Stephen Norrington *** |
