| Bad Blood (1994) Cast:Lorenzo Lamas,John P.Ryan,Kimberly Kates,Beau Starr Lamas remains in desperate need of acting classes as he stars in this pitiful actioner about a man who defends his brother from the yakuza who want their money back which Bro ripped off 5 million dollars so he enlists the help of Lorenzo Lamas who decides to pay them back with a lot of gunfire. Noticing that nothing exciting is happening the director decides to tack on a sex scene that not only slows the movie down but makes the movie more dull and moronic. Lorenzo Lamas has always been known for a lack acting abilty but compared to the rest of the cast he seems like an oscar winner, especially since Lamas is one of the few who remains consistent with his character. Even worse is that John P. Ryan is shockingly wasted as he never has any impact on the movie. Talk about a cheat. This is the kind of dumb action flick that you rent and watch and then feeling so ashamed of yourself you run back to the video rental store to take back the movie and during your journey you pray that nobody that you know see's you for fear that they will point and laugh, but what is most shocking is how awful the actionscenes are in which they come off more redundant then anything, as if it's some kind of a joke, well Lorenzo Lamas is laughing all the way to the bank and with garbage like this, He may indeed be the only one. Bad Crud is a much more appropriate title. Avoid it, that's my only advise. D.Tibor Tickas * |
