| Assassination (1987) Cast:Charles Bronson,Jill Ireland,Jan Gay Boyd Bronson plays a secret service agent who ends up protecting the First Lady (Ireland) from a group of terrorists who have targeted her for extermination in this routine outing which marks the final outing between Ireland and Bronson. Assassination would have been a decent movie if it had more of a romantic angle between Bronson and Ireland. Alas, the producers have made this into a standard conspiracy flick where the bad guys are everywhere and show up just when our heroes think it's safe. However there are some good actionscenes and Bronson and Ireland do rise above the silly script, still this is a disappointing way to go out, especially when one considers how wonderful From Noon To Three was.
