The Art Of War (2000)

Cast:Wesley Snipes,Michael Biehn,Maury Chaykin,Anne Archer,Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa,James Hong,Donald Sutherland

If anything else, The Art Of War represents a genre offering made 13 years too late, The Art Of War is blissfully stupid with a terrible script and millions of plot holes as well as a laughable plot that is so mindless that it borders on self parody, however I find myself often nostalgic, and I somewhat miss the days of movies like this and well, we'll say Raw Deal, because this is almost exactly the same kind of movie.

Of course The Art Of War also delivers the hand to hand goods with effortless grace, there isn't a dull moment, and when your not enjoying the cheese your breath is often taken away by excellent actionscenes.  It all depends on a matter of taste, if you like movies that feature a muscle man wipe out countless advesaries without ever breaking a sweat, and if you miss the days of Raw Deal and Commando, then this is a your dream come true. If you like a story between the fightscenes then this is definitely out of your league. D.Christian Duguay
