American Streetfighter (1992)

Cast:Gary Daniels, Ian Jacklin, Gerald Okamura

Whenever I watch movies and look up various comments about the movie at IMDb, one of the biggest things that annoys me is how some snot-nosed moron will say "Even, I could make a better movie."  In reality it usually deals with efficently made B.movies and the reality is that given the few who've tried to make their own horror flicks and actioners, end up making stuff so godawful and unwatchable that it's an irony not lost on this viewer. That being said, American Streetfighter is a movie so poorly made and unbelievably lame that yes, even you reading this could make a better movie than this junker.

Of course I could start with the pesestrian direction, the atrocious acting and the kicks and punches which miss the target or just barely graze the body. Natrually this all gets irritating quickly and the lack of enjoyable fightscenes and downright inept plot will bore even the most forgiving action fan.
American Streetfighter also contains no grittiness to the action, it's all kicking and no result of injury.  Of course this can be due to the fact that the kicks miss by miles and I guess in that retrospect the movie is realistic but as an actionflick it only bores me to tears..  I admit that Gary Daniels is a talented martial artist, but this Dolph Lundgren rip off needs something better than this to prove himself in the genre.
