Story and art by Jerard Felix Beltran
Co-translator: Jescie James Palabay
Tons of action....blood! Mwahaha!!... It takes quite a while before you really understand
who's talking to who and whose mech is which [geez, even I'm confused with myself]. Anyhoo, the
story is approaching a conflicting event, and Raya is in the middle of this whole mess...
provoked by the AT-01's.
Not only will the characters be brainwashed, you will too unless you sit down and get serious
with this chapter...

I knew it!! They're Saiyanjin-tachi!!! Ohohohoho~! They're lost relatives of Trunks! Their
Saiyan blood is awakening!!
Ehehehe... Wee bit carried away there... Let's just say it's my way of sending clues on what has
happened in the chapter. Saiyanjin: we all know that Saiyanjin turn into Super Saiyans, ne?
Little eyecatch of whatever magical powers Diwa possesses... A *very* unexpected cameo
appearance [much more unexpected than that Kurama look-alike in ish2 ^_~].
There's also the "Apparition of the Tsinelas" [hehe... try to find out what *that* is...]

SNOW?!?! Sa P'nas?? Well, that's new. It can be very true here in Culture Crash. Anyway...
it's fiction!
Mina finds a couple of small-time bounties in the Bounty Hunter Center: Pasig City [well... at
least I *think* it's "Center" I just did a little extrapolating there] but these jobs don't pay
too well. A fellow kawaii blondie manunubos advises her to go for the big ones... like Dante,
for instance. BUT we all know about the *thing* between Mina and Dante, so...
And crashing in through the window [and Venetian blinds...] comes another manunubos...peek
outside and who do you see?
DANTE!

A tremendously windy landing by the Ragnarok on a rocky cliff [which I suppose is Feather's
Peak, based on the chapter title...]. Airee ponders on who this runaway conjurer is [in other
words, she doesn't know who Butler is, yet. She just calls him 'Lampa']. They take refuge in a
cave, which, to Airee and Polaris' surprise, seems to be overly familiar to Butler.
Now that they've settled in and Butler has introduced himself formally [to the greater surprise
of our dynamic duo] and he told them of how he found out where they were held captive.
Airee had that dream again... that "ikaw ay akin" dream... nightmare thingie...
Airee and Polaris woke up early to do a little spelunking [heehee, I love using that word].
Butler frantically looks for them... before they get into trouble...

Full Spectrum: L'Arc~en~Ciel
by Herb Fondevilla

Well, I don't know, but I think I don't really need to say anything about them. C'mon!!
Who doesn't know L'Arc??
...umm.... Okay, so maybe not *everybody* knows them. But anyway, L'Arc~en~Ciel [French for
"rainbow" or "the arc in the sky" as my English teacher told me...*wavies to Ms. Bongon*] is one
band worth researching a little bit more on.

True Colors: The Corrs In Blue

The Bhoss on How We Write
Supposedly How we draw 4, an article on anime anatomy, da Bhoss intercepted a bit [Heero:
enemy craft... must intercept...] and did an article on how to write comics/comic storylines.
Anyway, according to him, writing *is* also an art and part of the comics production.
It's really helpful and i'm quite sure most of you creative minds out there could relate to the
situation instance given by our beloved editor. ^_^

Mononoke on Disney DVD
by Nemo
Mononoke Hime *at last* is released by Disney on DVD in English and original Japnese
dubbing. Much as dvd's are overly expensive [especially mononoke coz this is such good anime],
it's recommended to get this one because IT IS WORTH IT. Crisp, digital images of dvd
technology, plus the original Japanese track, probably extra features [also provided by dvd
tech]. What more could an otaku want?
Manga Review

"2001 Nights: Children of Earth"
One futuristic-type retro-style soap-opera manga [wow, daming hyphens!] which can be quite
confusing, even just reading its description makes your head twirl a little.

NEW IN CC05...
Like in issue04, there are pull-out posters, this time from ODID and Solstice. There's
also this "Cat's Trail Extra" at the end of the chapter, little eyecatch of something,
probably to be revealed soon, I dunno.
"Reasons Why They Hate Culture Crash" --->Surprised? I sure was. Well... you can't please
everyone, but here the displeased ones are given a chance to speak their mind and also an
explanation by CC. [spooky voice]***Watch what you say about Culture Crash... They've got
spies***
CCCom Graffiti features CC fanart... Well, almost all of them are, at least. There's this one
cool [very cool, totally, as in.] mech-type art... "Techno Sonic", if I read right. Basta,
it's real cool.
Letters, letters... mga pahabol... areas available for subscription... new
subscription form... that pretty much wraps it
up.
