Ewan Gordon mcgregor was born in 1971 on the 31st of March. He grew up in a small scottish town called crief with his parents . He aspired to his uncle dennis lawson ,a well known and talented actor who had been in the first three star wars movies and the west end musical. Mr.cinders. When ewan was 16 he left his school ( Morrison academy) to join the Perth repertory theatre. He studied drama for a year and then was enrolled in the guildhall school of music and drama in london. Right before he graduated he landed himself the roll of Mick Hopper in Dennis potters" Lipstick on your collar" and as they say the rest is history. He then began to land roles thick and fast some great some disastrous but ewan really landed it big when he appeared as Mark Renton in the 1996 film "Trainspotting" a very blunt movie about drug addicts ! He then satrted landing roles in movies such as a life less ordinary starring with Cameron diaz and Moulin rouge where his amzing musical talent shone through as he played the part of Christian,A penniless poet travelling to paris to become part of the bohemian revolution where he gets caught in the moulin rouge anight club and falls in love with Satine a courtasen ( nicole kidman).
His most recent films being black hawk down and yet to be released in september young adam and in october Down with love , where he stars opposite renne zelwegger.I'm sure these will be just as good if not better!! |
