| EDWIN WITH WIFE HERMIE AND CHILDREN, MARK & KRISTINE |

| Edwin Constantino was our import classmate from the United States. He was raised in different parts of the States courtesy of the US. Navy. He was transported to our school when we were in our third year of school. I could only imagine how culturally shocking it was for him having not able to speak too many "Tagalogs". He was quiet in school. Well, what do we expect- "Baluktowt ang kanyeng Tegeylog". It was quite amazing though how well he was able to adopt and eventually learn the language. Even though he was raised in a western world where children could act too "wildly" (for Filipino standards during those days), he was humble, soft spoken, well mannered and respectful of others. Same feathers flock together. Another mild mannered and soft spoken Louie Camantigue, became a good friend and "kumpare", among others. He earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology in 1981. He went back to the States in 1982 and settled in San Jose, California. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Hermie Saflor (Delpa Class'77) and blessed with two beautiful children, Mark and Kristine. Currently they are residing in Sunnyvale, California. |
