| LOIDA' s OPENING REMARKS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Fellow Graduates of Batch 1976, Good afternoon. On behalf of the DPA Class 76-A, I would like to welcome you all and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to be with us this afternoon. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mahigit 24 na taon na ang nakakaraan since we had our last footsteps in this beloved school. Para sa akin, and I know most of you share the same feelings, wala nang sasaya pa sa "highschool days". Dito nagsimula ang pagkakaibigan at "pagkakaibigan". We had our puppy love and crushes. For some that puppy love which started during those years ay nagbunga na ng mga anak at mga apo. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ganoon din sa pagkakaibigan, doon nagsimula ang barkadahan and I am proud to say that up to this moment, those friends I had are still around. Naging magkukumpare at magkukumare ang ilan sa atin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ang pagtitipong ito ay isa lamang preparasyon sa ating Silver Anniversary. It is our intention to get the majority's decision on every issue that we will discuss. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Dennis Ilano, one of the active members in making this get-together possible, will chair this afternoon's meeting. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the other members of Batch 76 for their commitment and support: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Orland Morante, Vice President of our Senior Class organization. Though he is in Canada, he plays an active role in this Silver Anniversary preparation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ronald Paras, for printing and mailing the invitations. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Nancy Almarinez, Cely Candelaria, Beth Paranas, Emely Ilano, Dennis Ilano, Rey Canaynay, Ogie Cuenca, Danny Dominguez for being with us during our rounds. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Florante Bautista, he has been our driver during the rounds. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Edsel Palma, he might be somewhere else while we were making our rounds, yet in his own humble way, he?s always been very supportive. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| To the other members who shared some prizes for the parlor games we will have later on, thank you also. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Last but not the least, Emely Cajigas, I am sure most of you had the opportunity to talk to her either on the phone or personally during our rounds. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
