The Christian's Journey
(1 Peter 1:1 - 9)
¶" Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.
¶ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
¶ In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls."

That passage in 1
Peter may be the best "overview" of the journey that each
Christian is called to undertake. Each Christian was chosen by God,
sanctified by the Holy Spirit and sprinkled with the Blood of Christ
to obey Jesus. Christians are the recipients of the Hope of a
glorious future in fellowship with God the Father, through the sacrifice
of Jesus on the Cross and the power of the Holy Spirit. As we
remain on Earth, we are protected by the power of God through our
Faith, but we will all go through times of testing and trials. Our
success in the journey depends on our Faith in God to honor His
promises to be with us no matter what we are going through.
Our
desire is to provide insights into the Bible, as well as links to web sites, that we feel will
help all of us successfully complete the amazing journey that God has
called us to undertake.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
This site is the
product of the collaboration of Christians from various backgrounds
and denominations. If you are like us, you want to know the
underlying Faith Principles for our efforts towards this site.
The site's contents based on prayer and guidance from Jesus
Christ, our Lord. We hold the Nicene
Creed to represent the essential elements of our beliefs.
