Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, January through November. Competition for prints and slides is held 9 months of the year. An informative program or workshop is arranged for two of the meetings in lieu of competition. Field trips are arranged each month.

The annual club salon is held early in December, and concludes the year. Entries are judges by a three judge panel. All entries are displayed and awards are presented at a salon banquet.

The Pikes Peak Camera Club is a member of the Photographic Society of America, and competes with the top ranking camera clubs of the nation.
