PIGSSAI, from its two years of existence, is currently promoting a kind of "live museum" of native games at the Luneta (Rizal Park) every Sunday from 2-6 pm dubbed as the "Palarong Pinoy sa Luneta" where promenaders are enticed to join games of patintero, piko, sungka, dama, pool, sipang yantok, trumpo, basag palayok, pabitin and other indigenous games. Held at the walkway between the Halamanang Pilipino and the Relief Map and the Teodoro F. Valencia Circle grounds.
At the same time, promenaders and regular guests, including Ermita's street children in a bid to ward them off the menace of illegal drugs, are also given free martial arts.
From 6 to 9 in the evening, the public is being entertained free via demonstration and exhibition of different martial arts.
PIGSSAI, is also active guesting in social and cultural affairs, both local and foreign audience, through martial arts demonstrations and exhibitions of native games as part of its promotional capmpaign and as the organization's contribution to the country's sports and cultural tourism drive.
PIGSSAI is also printing the Pinoy Games Newsletter and airing a radio program "Larong Pinoy" every friday (5-7) over DZSR Radio 918 KHz AM Band.
PIGSSAI is also open to special arrangement to groups and schools willing to learn native martial arts, specially Arnis.

Some Salient Facts About Arnis

- Arnis is one answer in our search for what is truly a Filipino identity.
- In the global field of Martial Arts, the Japanese boasts of their Karate, Judo, Sumo, Samurai and Kendo. The Koreans have their Taekwondo. THe Chinese, their Kung Fu. The Thais have their Muay Thai kickboxing. By the same token, the Filipinos are and must be identified globally with Arnis.
- Thousands of Arnis clubs abound not only in the country but abroad as well. From Australia, US, Africa, Asia, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and foreign Arnis practitioners value the art with so much respects and importance befitting an institution and a regal sport.
- One of the early practitioners of Arnis was Rajah Lapulapu, a bold and handsome warrior king, chieftain of Mactan in the 16th century Visayas, who was a master in the six sword-slashing maneuvers of Arnis called pangamut and the ancient wrestling art of dumog. It was his lighting skills as an arnisador that felled down the Spanish conquisator Ferdinand Magellan in the Battle of Mactan in 1521. He's our first national hero, remember?
- Arnis is a complete science in self-defense through the weaponry system or the empty hand technique. Weapons can include, aside from rattan stick, blades and swords including everyday objects such as pens, coins, folding fans, notebooks etc. via the arnis dulo-dulo movements. One can also use the empty hand style for self-defense.
