Before moving back to America, Aloysia purchased two Wirehairs from Italy. She was extremely pleased with the good-natured temperaments and impressive field abilities of these two dogs, and eventually imported a third dog from the same Italian kennel.
These are the foundation of Piemonte Kennels, and Piemonte has consistantly been able to produce German Wirehaired Pointers with wonderful temperaments to go along with their outstanding field abilities.
Since returning to the United States, Aloysia has produced dogs that have competed in field trials, dog shows, hunt tests, NAVHDA and NSTRA. And, hunters who have purchased GWPs from Aloysia continue to return to Aloysia when they are ready for another GWP.
Aloysia is an active member of the GWPCA and the Sea-Tac GWP Club. She is a AKC Hunt Test and Field Trial Judge, and regularly competes in AKC Field Trials and dog shows.
