Washington Village: The USA Connection
Many people, like myself, no longer live in Washington. We grew up there but for all sorts of reasons we left the town. In my case I came to live in Adelaide, Australia. Our memories, however, never leave us and there is always the pull to return. Washington is in our blood. This web page is for all of the people of Washington, home and away, past and present.

I have now finished working on my Mam's
HULLYER FAMILY HISTORY
which also includes information on
the HAYLOCK, STEARNES, BLANKS and BASHER Families.

The Hullyers, Haylocks, Stearnes and Blanks originated from Cambridge
while the Bashers are from Redruth in Cornwall.

There is also information on the Livermoores of Eighton Banks,
the Telfords of Washington and the Salmons and Segraves of Springwell.

Any relations out there?

My Mam was Blanche Hullyer before she married my Dad, Joe Hall.
They lived in The Terraces for many years then moved up to Dene Court.
My Mam was 88 in May 2006.
