This web site has been set up so that I have somewhere to put my stuff about the 'Pick', or 'MultiValue' database. This is quite an old system that doesn't really resemble anything else, but can eerily match up to just about anything. Because there is a range of 'Pick-like' systems, I shall refer to them generically as 'MV' systems (for MultiValue).
