Jacques Villeneuve

A History of Jacques Villeneuve.
Jacques was born 4th November 1953 at Chambly, Quebec. Jacques was only one year younger then his brother gilles and they both grew up with a love for racing. Jacques had three attempts to qualify for F1 in 1981 for Arrows at Canada and Las Vegas and again in 1983 for Ram at Canada but unfortuneatly he failed to qualify on these attempts. Jacques did however become the first canadian to Win an Indycar Race in 1985 at the Elkart Lake Road America Track. Jacques has also had great success in Formula Atlantic Racing becoming the Champion in 1980 and 1981 and also was the Can-am Champion of 1983.Through out his career Jacques has always kept a desire for racing snowmobiles and has won many World Championships in this type of racing.
