Denny Hulme Died October 4th 1992 while driving a BMW 325i in the Bathurst 1000. The race was run for the most part in showers and it was during the wet part of the race that Denny Hulme suffered a heart attack while driving down conrod straight. Denny managed to stand on the brakes and came to a skidding stop at the side of the track. It was the most haunting image I've seen in all motorsports related deaths, yet it involved no horrendous crashing or tearing apart of the car.
I believe that Denny died doing what he loved Racing
