Saint Mary Day
 
Saint Mary Day is celebrated in Romania on the 15th of August every year.

This holiday announces the time of autumn fairs for traders. The wine-yards are guarded and the flocks of sheep come down the mountains. It is known that Saint Mary is the Goddess of the good and it brings to the people health, prosperity and happiness too.
Sfânta Maria se sărbătorește în România la 15 august în fiecare an.
Sărbătoarea anunță că se apropie toamna, dar e și momentul organizării de bâlciuri sau târguri. Turmele de oi coboară din munți, iar viticultorii se pregătesc pentru recoltarea strugurilor. Se spune că Sfânta Maria aduce oamenilor în această zi sănătate, prosperitate și fericire.
