| The Holy Friday- Sfânta
Paraschiva |
Every year at the 14th of October this festivity superposes
with Saint Paraschiva.
The latter took a few of the attributeons of the goddess
Venera, who wascelebrated at the beginning of the Christianity. The festivity
is a pastoral one and it indicates the beginning of few activities like:
the organization of the heards of sheep for the winter, the sheapheaders
hiring for the new pastoral season, the eliberation of the rams from the
heards of sheep.

La 14 octombrie în fiecare an, această sărbătoare se
suprapune cu Sfânta Paraschiva. Aceasta din urmă a preluat unele din atribuțiile
zeiței Venera, cea care era de fapt sărbătorită la începuturile creștinismului.
Sărbătoarea e pastorală și indică începutul unor activități ca: organizarea
turmelor de oi pentru iernat, angajarea ciobanilor pentru noul sezon pastoral,
eliberarea berbecilor din turmele de oi.
