Shrove Tuesday - Lăsatul Secului
 
It is a night holiday 13-14 of November and it starts the Advent. People celebrate it with good food and drinks. The spirits of Evil are driven away by noises and shots. The doors and gates are greased by garlic and the dishes are overturned- that is because the spirits of Evil not to sneak inside them.
Este o sărbătoare nocturnă 13- 14 noiembrie care deschide Postul Crăciunului. Ea ocazionează petreceri familiale, cu mâncare bună și băutură din belșug. Spiritele rele se alungă prin zgomote și împușcături. Ușile și porțile se ung cu usturoi, iar vasele din casă se întorc cu gura în jos, ca să nus se furișeze în ele spiritele malefice.
