Jim began working with MIIS (similar to MUMPS) in 1982 starting out as a programmer for a community hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois.
From that time until 1993 Jim worked as the senior programmer analyst for a million member plus HMO, as the senior systems project leader (Midwest region) for the largest healthcare software vendor in the U.S. and as the programming manager for a medical research, education and practice foundation.
