CODE OF ETHICS AGREEMENT

As an award bearer, I, Pikkle, as the owner and webmaster of this website, promise to uphold all of the articles within this Code of Ethics Agreement (henceforth, known as "The Code") to preserve the honesty and decency of both myself, and those who apply for an award hosted upon Pikkle Paradise

Section A: Upon Submission Article 1: Upon submission of your site through the award application box, it is assumed you have read all of the necessary sub-pages which includes relevant information for submission, including, but not limited to, the COPPA Act, this code, the Privacy Contract, reasons for disqualification, etc. Article 1b: If it has been found that you have not read any of the agreements through reason of content on your page contradicting any of the above documents mentioned in Article 1, your site name, e-mail address and any other information will not be listed and will be immediately deleted from my mailbox. If you remove the contradicting content from your website, you are more than welcome to re-apply. Article 2: Upon submission of your site, there will be a waiting period of up to 2 weeks where I will review your site fully before replying. If there will be a longer waiting period, you will be e-mailed immediately upon my realizing of such situation, and ask that you please be patient Article 3: Upon submission of your site, it is assumed that you are the full webmaster of the site. Article 3b: If your site is maintained by two or more people through a partnership, it is requested that you include all parties e-mails either through the form on the submission page, or through a personal e-mail to myself. It is assumed that all parties are aware of the award submission.

Section B: Upon Review Article 4: Upon review of your site, you will be notified by e-mail regardless of if you win an award or not. This article will be bypassed if your site features automatic disqualification materials. Article 5: Upon review of your site, if your site meets or surpasses all qualification levels to win an award, you will be e-mailed with a secret URL where your award can be obtained. Article 5b: If you are using Web TV, or would prefer to have the award sent as an attachment, please reply to the congratulatory e-mail and request that it be done. You will receive your e-mail attachment within two days Article 6: Upon review of your site, if your site falls below the qualification levels to win an award, you will be e-mailed and told exactly why you did not win. This e-mail will be very polite and all criticism will be completely constructive. You may re-apply for my award as soon as the offending / contradicting content is removed from or changed on your site. Article 7: I may not sign your guestbook when I visit your site. This is because I am a very busy person and it is not meant to be disgraceful, or to be thought that I did not review your site. I apologize if you feel this way.

Section C: Following Review Article 8: Following the review of your site and the e-mailing of the webmaster, your site will be placed upon the award winners listing which can be found on the Index Page, Awards Page and the Greeting Card Reception Area. Your site URL will remain there for one month, when it will then be retired into an archived listing and will remain there as long as I continue to run this webpage, or until your site no longer exists. Article 9: Following the review of your site, your award request form will be completely deleted from my e-mail and you will not again receive another message from me regarding your award unless it is absolutely necessary. Article 10: Following review of your site, your site will not be criticized by me to anyone. Just by submitting your request, you have earned my utmost respect and I intend to remain respectful of yourself and your website. Your site will never be mocked by myself.

Section D: Further Standards of Ethics Article 11: You will never receive any attachments from myself unless requested in a reply from a congratulatory e-mail. This is to ensure that no one become infected by any virus which may pass through my e-mail, and to ensure that e-mail accounts which can not accept attachments do not crash or not receive their award. Article 12: Immediate disqualification of a site includes pornographic material, excessive vulgarity, site promoting illegal activities, sites promoting hatred or discrimination, and sites promoting warez Article 13: Other reasons for disqualification may include (but are not limited) to site consisting only or mainly of links to other website, sites which are hard to navigate, sites which 'steal' personal information, sites which are mainly of commercial content, sites with an abundance of broken graphics, etc. Article 14: All submission requests will be granted based upon the date and time of submission retrieval. Please be patient Article 15: I am doing this to have fun! That is my highest priority, and it should be yours as well.
