This Indenture made the Seventeenth Day of April In the
Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy one Be[tween]
James Wilson of the County of Mecklenburg and Province of
North Carolina and Jane Wilson his Wife of The one Part and Jas.
[Orr] late of the Province of Pensylvania Weaver of the other
[part] Witnesseth that for and In the Consideration of the sum
[of si]xty five pounds procklamation Money In hand paid To
[the sa]id Jas. Wilson and Jane his Wife at and By [--- ---]
[---] Delivery of These Presents (The Receipt Whereof Is hereby
[ackno]wledged) hath Granted Bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed Con[veyed]
Confirmed and by these presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell
Enfeoff Convey and Confirm Unto the [sai]d James Orr

Land Lying on goose Creek In Said County and Bounded as
Followeth Viz Begining at a White oak on the North Side of
The Middle Fork of the said Creek and Runs North 19o [Wt] 62 Poles
To a Hicory Then So 80 Et 96 Poles To a Stake Then So [8?] Wt
159 poles To a Black oak Then North 19o Wt 126 poles To the
first Station Containing by Estimation 55 Acres Be the same
More or Less.
Being part of a Tract of Land Granted and Conveyed To the
said James Wilson by Adam Alexander By Deed Bea[ring Date]
