| July 2003 Frank worked with Hale Manufacturing in Foley for five and a half years. He then worked at Pensacola NAS Rework for 25 years. There, he worked in sheetmetal, jig building, and wood pattern making. After retiring from there, he started a chicken farm west of Troy, AL. and has had that business for 11 years. He receives 40,000 chicks and raises them for 35-36 days, to an average weight of 3.9 pounds, and they are then picked up. He has a few days to clean up and prepare for the next bunch. Frank enjoys fishing, deer hunting and gardening. His wife, Mae, works around the house, and enjoys cooking and gardening. Frank and Mae have a large house, and did much of the construction themselves. |
