Buddy attended Old Miss and South Alabama. He married Sylvia Mixon of Foley on September 3, 1965 (still married).
He worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager. His most important assignment was as Project Manager for relocating the US Southern Command for Panama to Miami. After retirement from the Corps he was the Site Manager for the construction of a $425 million steel mill.
Buddy and Sylvia�s oldest daughter, Melissa Ann, was born Mar. 25, 1971 and died Jan 18, 1977. Their second daughter, Angela Dian was born May 1, 1976 and graduated from Auburn with an MS. She works as a representative for Merck.
Buddy has been fortunate to have travelled extensively including Germany, Austria, Panama, Honduras, Belize, Columbia, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rica.
His Hobbies include stained glass and computers Sylvia spends time taking care of elderly. She enjoys reading.
