The following e-mail with info was received from Pat:

Upon graduation from Foley, I attended business school in Mobile.  I was then employed at the Mobile Press Register as a private secretary.  This turned out to be a very interesting job.  Each day, there seemed to be something different.

In 1961, I married William Walley (who I refer to as Walley) and we moved to Foley.  I then was employed as a private secretary at Riviera Utilities.

We were blessed with the birth of our first daughter, Karen in July 1964.  Then in June of 1967, we were blessed with our second daughter, Cheryl.  Karen and her husband, Gordon reside in Spring (Houston), Texas.  They have 4 1/2 year old twins, Landon and Lauren.  Gordon is employed at Compaq Computer, and Karen is a "stay-at-home" mom.

Cheryl has an eight year old daughter named Autumn, and is employed as Gov./Int'l Rep for Dental EZ in Bay Minette.

I have also been a "stay-at-home" mom since the girls were born.  I guess that most would say that I live an old fashioned life.

I do volunteer work, work in our church with several ministries.  Since Autumn has been in school and Cheryl is not free from work, I fill in for her.  Also, mother lives next door and due to age and failing health, requires help.  Actually, I stay so busy, I don't think that I would have time to have a job!

Walley works at his barber shop in Spanish Fort three or four days a week  We have a motor home and do quite a bit of traveling and camping which we enjoy very much.  Walley will retire in 18 months, and then we will plan to do some serious traveling.

My hobbies include camping, grandchildren and reading.  Bill enjoys fishing and camping.

Note by Patrick Koehler:

Pat mentions being in school with Pat.  If many of the classmates are like I am, I will always remember Pat's mom and June Wirth's mom as home room mothers, are whatever the proper term is.
