Miles graduated from Auburn in 1963 and Gail in 1964. They were married in June of 1964. They have two children; Jay and Blake. Miles has been farming for the past eight years (as of 1971) He raised soybeans and has feeder steers plus brood cattle.

Miles and Gail live in Goshen, AL, south of Montgomery. Gail works in Montgomery, and Miles has a hunting ranch.
He is frequently in the Foley area, helping his son with the construction of a new home. I believe that the son is a doctor.
Miles had been waiting for a liver transplant. He left the hospital and went to Perdido Beach, and died after about two weeks, on Dec. 19th.
