Mickey and Jack Griffeth were married June 6, 1959. Jack was in the Navy at Barin Field, as a storekeeper.
She worked with the Foley School for two years, then moved to Mobile in September 1961 and to Fairhope in May 1967.
She worked with Delchamps for 28 years until they were bought out by Jitney Jungle.
After Delchamps, helping her mom and dad became a full time job. Her mom passed away on May 27, 2000 and her dad is still living.
Jack retired from the Alabama Dept. of Transportation in 94 after 33 years. Then they built a new house in Fairhope.
They have two sons, Frank and Kent. Frank works in Mobile. He has two sons, Ben, 13, Blake, 9, a stepson Jeffrey, 12, and a stepdaughter Ashley, 18 that graduated in June.
Kent has a daughter, Rachel, born in Oct, 2001.
As others have said, her hobby is her grandchildren.
