| May 2002 Joe went to Auburn briefly and was in the Air Force for a short time. He had ear problems, so he was discharged because of that. He worked at Doering and Dixie Furniture. He was at Gulf Chrysler for 18 years. Over the course of the years, Joe has had four car lots, and presently owns Lucassen Auto Sales. His wife Linda, and their son, Mark also work at the business. Joe married Linda Morris Nov. 20, 1965. They have two children: Mark, 35, is married and has a stepson David. His wife is Elizabeth. Michelle, 30, is married and has a daughter, Sophia. Her husband is Sam. Joe and Linda have travelled to Hawaii, Mexico, Israel, and the western US. They plan to travel up the east coast in the near future. Joe collects lighthouse memorabilia so he should find more up in the Northeast. Joe likes working and cars. Linda enjoys gardening. They are active in church and teach Sunday School. Joe and Linda helped start the Assembly of God church in Gulf Shores. Joe was in the Civil Air Patrol in the early 60s. He presently has a powered parasail under construction (by someone that knows what they are doing). The model is called a Six Chuter. It has two seats, so after he gets a bit of flying time, I will be interested. It is hard to crash a parasail. It flys 20mph top speed and glides at 20mph. |
