Bill completed his BS degree at the University of Alabama in 1964 with a major in accounting. He worked briefly as an account with another firm, before joining L. Irwin & Son in October of 1966.
Bill had a brain tumor in the late '80's and survived one operation. He died November 1st, 1990 and is buried at Pine Rest Cemetery west of Foley, Block 1, Section 1, Lot 9, Space 7
