I was from Summerdale, and attended Foley through the 11th grade.
I was married and didn't graduate with the class. I went to Germany with my husband, and
received my diploma later.
I have lived in Leeds, Alabama located about 17 miles northeast of Birmingham for the past 29 years. I retired from The Leeds Water Works Board last July 28, 2001 after 28 years. I started out on the bottom and I ended up going as high as a female could go there. I was Office Manager and Human Resource the last twenty years.
We were blessed with two wonderful children; Duane is 40, and Kay is 38. Duane is married and has two girls and two boys, ranging in age from three to eleven. They live in Huntsville.
Kay is married and has three children, a boy 14, and girls 8 and 12. They live in Flower Mound, Texas near Dallas, and she is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and works at Parklin Memorial Hospital.
My birthday is September 11th, so my 60th birthday was a horrible day and one that I will never forget.
