Frank went to Southwest Alabama Tech after graduation, for two years studying Office Machine Repair.
He joined the Marines for two and a half years. While only in boot camp, he was promoted to PFC, and Lance Corporal in two months, and E-4 in 18 months. He maintained a 4.9 out of 5.0 in Conduct and Proficiency. He says that he was a gung ho Marine!
After the Marines, he returned to Pensacola, and remained single until 31.
Frank retired from Mainside after nearly 40 years as a Communication Specialist, travelling around the US working on everything from the PC stations to routers, etc. [I assume that the service time was added to that at Mainside]
Frank and Dot have lived at their present address for the past 27. He is very active at the First Baptist Church, working with the youth, and teaches Sunday school.
He was a Scout Master for 13 years, the longest of any in the 75 years of Troop 10. His son, of course, was in the scouts.
They have a daughter and a son. Kelley is a graduate of Judson College with a major in Computer Science, and Frank, Jr. is a graduate of Auburn, also with a major in Computer Science.
Frank enjoys fishing and shrimping.
