Joan Fowler was married in 1959 and moved to Chicago for 22 years.  She divorced in 1977 and  married again in 1980 to Don Mahon.  She and Don moved to Spanish Cove on the water, and he commuted to Atlanta for flights with the company. (He told the company that Spanish Cove was outside Atlanta.  It is..... waaayy outside!)  They lived there until 1987, then moved to Houston.  During the period while in Spanish Cove, Joan sold real estate.

Don has worked with a compnay based in Massachusetts since college, and the firm is now owned by a Finnish company and headquartered
in Helsinki.  Therefore, Joan gets to travel to Europe frequently.  They have had the opportunity to travel much of the world except the far east.  Paris is her favorite city of the world.

Don will retire next year, and they plan to move to 15 acres they own in Kentucky near Louisville, and build a home there to be near their children.  They would also like to buy a condo down south for vacations.

Joan has two daughters, Deborah and Suzanne, a grandson, Bradley, and a granddaughter, MacKenzie.
