Roy worked in a grocery store and farmed until 1965. He bought Community Grocery in 1965 and sold it in 1970. He went to work for Kerr McGee Chemical Co. in large farming operation. He then started building houses under the name B & H Construction Company.
Since the 1971 clas reunion, Roy has started farming full time and now farms 450 acres.
Opal and Roy also have a new 73 foot shrimp trawler, Lively Lady.
Three children complete the Brewer family: Theresa Annette, Kathline Rene and George Glen.
