Lynne and Clyde were married July 11, 1958.
Her first job was at the Dune�s Restaurant in Gulf Shores, and worked with Elberta Klemm.
Shelley Dawn was born Dec. 7, 1959
Marlon Clyde was born April 2, 1961.
Lynne worked at Vanity Fair in Robertsdale in �64 and �65.
Rondalyn Marie was born Sept. 16, 1966.
They opened a restaurant, Old South Fried Chicken and Seafood in Gulf Shores, in March �71. They closed the business for the winter in Sept �79. Three days later, Hurricane Frederick roared through. Water was 3-4 feet high in the building. Huge oaks were uprooted and debris from the beach was 3-6 feet high around the building (a mile from the beach).
The business was leased to Danny�s Fried Chicken in Jan., 1980.
They moved to Orange Beach in �80 and still live there.
Lynne worked at Souvenir City in Gulf Shores �84-�90, then they reopened Old South. They leased the business to King Neptune�s in �94.
She started working at Seacrets Gift Shop at Zeke�s Landing in Orange Beach, and still works there.
Shelley is not married, and owns Sea Clipper Hair Salon in Gulf Shores, and lives in Orange Beach.
Marlon married Shirley Chambliss, and has two sons. Marlon Blaine (7), and Trace McKain (1). They live in Gulf Shores. Marlon is a partner at Miller Plumbing Co. with Clyde.
Rondalyn married Al Stevens, son of Carolyn Jaye (Stevens) Collins from our class. They have a daughter, Jenna Nicole (18) and a son, Colton Blaine (12). Ronda and Al both work for Vic Roberts (former classmate) at Roberts Air Conditioning in Gulf Shores.
Lynne�s favorite pastime is babysitting the grandchildren.
