Flossie married Phillip Rutherford and lived in Troy, Alabama for a while where Phillip was an Electrical Department Foreman for the City of Troy. They moved to Fairhope and Phillip was General Manager for the City of Fairhope.
Flossie and Phillip owned the Fairhope Florist & Garden Center.
They had two children, Martha Jo and Bryan.
I found her son, Bryan in Foley and obtained information about her death. She died Oct. 21, 1994 of cancer, which started with breast cancer. She is buried at St. Mark's Lutheran Church cemetery east of Elberta on Hwy 98 about 1/2 mile.
